First Day Back
The Science Week results are in, and we are shocked!
Take a look at what happened to our germy bread - this is not what we expected...
Class Two have had a fantastic trip to Eureka learning more about their super bodies and having a great time with hands on activities.
We even took part in a Gross workshop where we learned all about our bodily functions and yes, it was as gross as it sounds!
The children loved it!
The whole class behaved fantastically and were a credit to our school.
The children have been trying out some autumn craft ideas using natural materials, have a look at their lovely creations...
This week has been the week of our parent workshop Investigating Balls. We had a fantastic afternoon, bouncing, rolling, juggling and measuring with different types of balls. With the help of lots of eager adults we had a great time and completed some super learning tasks.
Also, in PE Mr Johnson worked with us on controlling balls. The children completed lots of different tasks, bouncing and catching balls at different heights and in different games.
Experimenting with Bubbles.
As part of our Bounce topic we have made our own bubble mixture and investigated the different ways that we can make bubbles.
Check out our bubble making skills....
What a busy week! Nativity plans are well underway with all parts given out and costumes requested. All we need to do now is get practising.
If your child has a speaking part please help them to learn their lines using a loud, clear voice.
We can't wait to see you on 19th at 2pm.
Any questions, please speak to a member of the Class 2 Team.
We have been getting busy with capacity this week.
The children have been working in ml to fill and empty their containers and follow simple instructions.
Look at how fantastic we were in our Nativity.
Ned's Christmas Discovery was a real hit and everyone in Class One and Class Two were fantastic.
