(Will add pictures soon)

Week 6:

This week we have had an AMAZING trip to Grimm and Co. which linked perfectly with our topic about potions! We visited the apothecary for the magical and all had a great time engaging in a creative writing workshop and sharing some brilliant ideas that were published in our very own books. We even got to slide down the beanstalk at the end!

Also a huge well done to the winners of the Christmas card competition - some lovely designs!

Week 5:

Class 4 marked the start of advent in school this week by leading our advent assembly - it was one to be proud of, well done!

We have also made advent promises this week whilst visiting the travelling crib.

Week 4:

It has been other faiths day this week, we have focused on Judaism. In class 4 we have been exploring the Torah, looking at where it came from and how Jewish people show respect for it. We then made our own Torahs, filling them with the information that we found.

Week 3:

We have had a great week this week, exploring our new topic 'Potions'.

Well done to everyone who is reading weekly at home! - Keep this up!!

Week 2:

A very busy week this week, we had a taekwondo trainer visit school and we had a great session learning new skills! On Wednesday, some of our year 5's visited the beautiful St Marie's cathedral in Sheffield. We have also been celebrating anti-bullying week throughout school and we had some great discussions in class 4 and made some staying safe/anti-bulling promises.

Week 1:

A great first week back had by all.

With remembrance Sunday being this week, we took time to explore the story of Tom - a man who fought in the second world war. Class 4 have written some beautiful letters expressing their thanks to Tom, which were really lovely to read!

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in an ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
