Spring Term 2

What a fantastic return to school, we are ready and raring to go with our new topic Land Ahoy.

We are already off to a great start with the fantastic homework the children have brought in after some half term research.

We have lots of exciting things planned, so come back soon to find out what we have been up to.

Spanish Day

Friday 23rd February

We had a fantastic time dressing up, dancing, singing songs in Spanish and naming the parts of our body in Spanish.

Thank you to Mrs Lane for all her help!

Parents Afternoon

Lots of parents came to join in with our creative activities to launch our new topic.

We had fun making Pirate Ships using junk materials.

Just look what we made!

Here are some of our finished pirate ships!

A big thank you to all the parents and relatives who came to join us!

You made it a really special afternoon.

Week Three

The children in Class Two led the whole school in a Lenten liturgy encouraging us to keep our Lent promises and be more like Jesus.

Week Four

We have been working on a unit of dance in PE with Mr Johnson. We have been moving like animals, linking our different movements together to create a routine.

The children had to include a range of features in their routines. Can you guess what they were?

Week Five

This week we have be researching and writing about The Titanic.

We have discovered lots of amazing facts. We found out that The Titanic was 269m long so we decided to find out if it would fit on our school field. It won't!

Also, Andy has brought in his own Lego model of

The Titanic - it looked fantastic!

Week Six

What a way to end the term - look at Class Two's, fantastic Easter egg competition entries...

Remember our letters to parents are put on our website so if you lose a letter please check under the parents' section of your child's school and you should find a copy there.
