Welcome to our Class 5 page. Mr. Morrison and Mrs. Guest will be based in Class 5 for the year.

PE - Our PE Days are Tuesday and Thursday In Class 5 children should bring their PE kits on Monday and leave them in school until Friday in case we need to change our PE day.

Homework - Homework will go out every week on a Wednesday and will be returned the following Monday, this will initially be Maths and a piece of grammar, closer to SAT's we will be sending home passwords for SAT's bootcamp which will replace homework.. This year we will have access to online spelling practice as well as maths practice linked to their work in class sent home most weeks. We also use Time Table Rock Stars in our class and should use this as regularly as possible in addition to weekly homework.

Spellings - Will be sent home on a Friday and the spelling test will be the following Friday.

Literacy - We will be focusing on our grammar skills and word recognition using place value of punctuation.

Maths -  Our topics in maths are number and place value

History -  Our history topic is the Ancient Egyptians. Our enquiry question is "How has conflict shaped culture."

Science- This term we are learning about electricity.

RE - Our topics this term is loving and sources and unity.

Art - Our focus is on features of art and impressionist paintings.

Computing -  Our focus will be on computer systems.

PE - In PE we will be learning about  handball and fitness.
