Week 6

Class 4 had a fantastic walk and visit to Elsecar Heritage Centre where we learned about Elsecar's very important role in the Industrial Revolution and saw the Newcomen Beam engine at work!

Week 5

Beautiful mini-beast art using pastels, water colours or felt tip pens. We looked at the work of artist Lucy Arnold for inspiration.

Sport Star of the week

Week 4

In design technology the children have been getting to grips with hydraulics and moving objects with air - blown into a balloon and then pushed with some force down a tube using syringes. They even managed to elevate a chair!!

This half term Class 4 are working on football skills and lesson one was all about dribbling.

Week 1

Welcome to Class 4! We have had a cracking first week and are looking forward to the rest of the term. Two of our pupils have brought a snail farm they have created at home and gave a presentation to the class on Friday. Everyone is looking forward to doing more research on snails!

Feelings Check-in Chart

As part of "Wicked Well Being" work that has been taking place in class 3, all classes have made a feelings check-in display where pupils can show how they are feeling each day. her are some of their pictures we have used to illustrate our display.
