Teaching Assistant

Required for an immediate start

To be based at Sacred Heart, Goldthorpe but on a Federation contract.

Contract type: Fixed Term to 31 August 2018, working 21.25 hours per week, term time only to support children, some who may have special educational needs

Salary: Grade 3 £16781 to £17772 (actual salary £8047 to £8522)

The Governing Body of the successful, happy and forward thinking Corpus Christi Federation of 3 schools wishes to appoint a suitably qualified teaching assistant to play a role in the continued success of the Federation. The pupils, staff and governors have a great sense of pride in the schools and care passionately about our future success.

This post offers an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced TA to become part of our community. You may work across whole school and support a varied curriculum.

You must be committed to high standards in all areas and have high expectations of all children in terms of progress, attainment, attitudes and behaviour.

You will need the ability to work as part of a team and be prepared to follow instructions from the class teacher(s) in meeting the educational needs of the pupils.
