We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Week 6

Well done class 3 for creating such a wonderful collection of gifts to sell at our Christmas fair, I think John Lewis might be a little worried about the competition.

Week 5

This Week we have our beautiful Advent wreath in class which is filling us all with expectation and hope. “Advent” means “arrival” or “coming,” and we will be thinking and remembering why Jesus came at Christmas. We have also made Christingle candles. Each part of the Christingle candle has a special meaning:

The orange represents the world
The red tape is for the love and blood of Christ
The sweets and dried fruit represent the four seasons
The lit candle represents Jesus’s light in the world

Week 4

This week we have been learning how to do strengthening exercises to help improve our balancing techniques in PE. We then went onto experiment with 5 point balances.

Well done to all the children who have designed and made a travelling crib, they look amazing!

Week 3

Congratulation to this young lady for receiving her Pen license!

Week 2

Thank you so much to all the parents and carers that came in for class 3's parent's afternoon. We had a wonderful time and made some fantastic volcanoes. Well done everyone!

Week 1

This week we have been learning all about Taekwondo. We have had great fun trying out all the different leg and arm moves and making as much noise as we could! well done everyone.
