Spring 2
Week 7
This week we have been celebrating Holy Week with the rest of the school. We have been learning the Easter Story.
On our final day of this term we had a very special visit from the Easter Bunny! He left us lots of Easter chocolates!

Week 6
We have been learning about Change during our Lent topic for RE. We have been thinking about how we have changed since we started school in September. We have been thinking about what we have learnt and how we have grown. We planted some beans to show us how things change and grow as we take care of them. They have now started to grow!
Week 5
Class1 have been learning the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. We have learnt to perform the story and we have been creating our own story maps.
Week 4
Our foundation children have been learning doubles to 5 this week. We even know some doubles to 10. Our Year 1 children have been outside in our Peace Garden looking for signs of Spring.
Week 3
Our Year 1 children have been learning how to code in their iPad lesson. They had to create a code for different sea creatures. They had to give them instructions to go left, right, up or down. Once they had completed this, they moved onto the next challenge! They had to debug a code that had a mistake in it.
Week 2
This week our Foundation children have been very busy in their Maths lessons. We have been playing lots of number games!
Shrove Tuesday
We celebrated Shrove Tuesday in Class 1 by eating some pancakes. We learnt that Shrove Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday which is the beginning of Lent.
