Week 8 

In science we have been learning about the parts of a flower. We have about learnt the part that flowers play in the life cycle of flowering plants, including pollination,seed formation and seed dispersal.

Week 7 

This week in Maths we have been learning all about measuring length in mm,cm and m. We went on to add, subtract and convert different lengths. 

Week 6 

This week have created some beautiful pictures as if we were looking through Rosie's tinted spectacles.  We then went on to create a pictorial list in our sketch books of the elements of Friedensreich Hundertwasser art work. 

Week 4

We have been continuing our art work this week learning how to use pencils to blend and create different effects. Also we have started looking at a book all about a girl who finds some very special glasses. Amazing things happen when she puts the glasses on and she sees the world in a totally different way. 

Week 3

This week in art we have been learning all about the primary colours and colour mixing. We created a colour wheel using red, blue and yellow and then mixed these colours together to make the secondary colours purple, orange and green. 

Week 2 

Week 1 

Welcome back Class 3! This week we have been learning all about soil, how it is formed and why we need it. We then went on to make our own compost bin. It was a little bit revolting when we had to add the decaying food scraps and worms!
