Autumn Term 2

Week 7

W.B 14.12.2020

We made it through what will possibly  be remembered as the most challenging term (year) ever! What is incredible is how the children got to the end,still wearing smiles on their faces. They have continued to demonstrate incredible resilience and have worked so hard to this term, making us and all you  proud.

Week 6

This week in P.E we used equipment.  For Save the Children Christmas Jumper day, we enjoyed designing our own Christmas jumpers . We finished the week with a disco where we showed off our dance moves!

Week 5

This week we were learning about Advent. We made Christingles and learnt about what each item on there present.

We also made items for the Christmas fair and loved attempting to catch snowflakes at the end of the week.

Week 3

This week it wasn’t Anti-bullying week.We wore odd socks to school Andrew learnt about how to show kindness to each other.

In Maths we were learning about the Part-Part Whole model and in R.E we learnt about Baptism.

W.B 9.11.2020

This week we learnt about Remembrance Day. In Maths year 1 were learning about ordinal numbers and number lines. In P.E we were practising our balancing skills. We ended the week celebrating BBC Children in Need Day by taking part in different  themed activities.

This week , in our History lesson, we were learning about the Gunpowder plot and how to stay safe around fireworks and bonfires.  We went on the field and made a "bonfire". In Maths  we were comparing objects and numbers using the <,> and = symbols.
