Week 7: 

A very exciting week this week! 

Class 4 visited the Tropical Butterfly House as part of our Beat Creator topic. We took part in workshops and even had the chance to hold many exotic creatures! We didn't want to come home - a great time had by all. 

Week 6:

In music this week we have been focussing on the song 'Mamma Mia'. We have been practicing our singing and have been trying different ways of  finding the beat in the song. 

Week 5:

This week we have spent time creating a map and key of our school grounds. We did this so that we could go outside on a mini beast hunt and mark off where we found particular mini beasts. We very much enjoyed seeing what was hiding around school! 

Week 4: 

This week in RE we have continued to discuss that although we are all made in the likeness of God's image, we are all unique beings and we should celebrate our great qualities. To do this, we have created some beautiful acrostic poetry. We have also enjoyed ourselves in music this week, trying our best to tap out the beat! 

Week 3: 

This week in maths we have been looking more closely at place value and working through different challenges in teams. We have continued our practice of football this week outside in PE. 

Week 2:

This week we did PE out in the sun. We are learning different football skills in PE this half term and have really enjoyed ourselves this week. We have some excellent team players in Class 4, children who are supportive of others and some especially determined children who have all done brilliantly when learning to dribble the ball.

Week 1:

Welcome back! 

We have had a fantastic first week in Class 4 and have kick-started the week by diving into our brand new topic (Beast Creator). We have spent time discussing different ways that we can classify animals and have found out lot's about the differences and similarities of groups such as insects, amphibians, reptiles and more!
