Spring 1

Week 7

The children have been working hard on all their assessments this week and progress is being made. We have published a book on the poems we have been writing and we are going to read a few in our assembly when it comes around. They were really good and I was really proud of them.

Have a lovely half term. The children have worked hard and are ready for a break.

Week 6

Phew!! Our Sea Monkeys have hatched and are happily swimming around the tank. They are so small we can hardly see them. Mrs Fox has remembered to feed them so hopefully they will continue to grow.

Week 5

We have some new additions to Class 3 this week in the form of Sea Monkeys. The eggs have been added to the tank and now we are waiting to see if they will hatch.

Week 4

We have been finishing off our poems this week. They are really nice and we have been working hard at using personification.

Week 3

This week in PE we have started gymnastics with Mr Johnson. We have been practicing different types of jumps both on the equipment and off it. In Literacy we are doing poetry. We have been learning a poem called 'The Sea' by James Reeves. We have also put actions to the poem. We hope you like the pictures.

Week 2

We have had a busy week this week. Year 4 went to St Pius and had a fabulous time doing basketball skills and circuits. We then watched a fabulous talent show put on by the drama department. While Year 4 were out Year 3 made wings for Icarus. They did an excellent job and we have had good results.

Week 1

Welcome back to school!

I hope that you all had a lovely Christmas break and are now ready and raring to go. We have settled back into the school routines very quickly and are working hard. We are finishing our ancient Greece topic off for the next couple of weeks and next week the Year 3's are making 'Icarus's wings' so there will be pictures uploaded of that. The Year 4's are spending a day at St. Pius next week and photos of that shall also be on the site. PE days, homework and spelling days have all remained the same for this half term.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in an ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
