Class 4 are amazing artists!
Class 4 are really enjoying the Taekwondo coaching sessions - don't forget P.E. kits on Tuesdays until further notice.
This week has seen the start to a new topic; "Road Trip USA". In Literacy we have been looking at poetry from Native American culture. Here the children performed a verse each to the rest of the class from the beginning of "The Song of Hiawatha".
Class 4 had an amazing time at Weston Park museum where they were trained in ancient Egyptian embalming. The chief embalmer said that she had never had a more knowledgeable and well behaved class! The children did their parents and school proud.
St. Marie's cathedral Visit
Year 5 visited the Catholic cathedral in Sheffield on Wednesday. We had a wonderful tour from Mrs Maher and Mrs Smith. The children learned so many interesting facts, took part in a quiz, went to Mass and ended the day by offering a prayer and a candle of their own.
This week's stars were chosen for improving their set and dig shots whilst working on volley ball skills.
