Holy Week and a busy and prayerful week for class 4. We led Monday's Palm Sunday assembly and Holy Thursday's Last Supper assembly.
Class 4 and Mrs Walker wish you all a happy and holy Easter.
Class 4 enjoyed their parent's assembly on Thursday 6th April. Excellent work was shared and performed. A big well done to all involved. Here are a few of the highlights.
In R.E. this week Class 4 explored the betrayal of Jesus by Judas Iscariot. In the videos below they enacted a "conscience alley" offering advice to a guilty Judas.
Homework help - coral bleaching
Here is a great website for kids with a game to demonstrate coral bleaching and an explanation:
Last week, Year 5 had a fantastic time at St Pius sampling History, R.E. and Art. Here are some examples of pastel art work of a "Green Man" - a face surrounded by or made from leaves. Branches or vines may sprout from the mouth, nostrils, or other parts of the face and these shoots may bear flowers or fruit. Our Green Men show the different seasons.
The finished wall hangings, displayed in the window to catch the light. I think you'll agree that they look stunning. A job well done!
Class 4 are enjoying using fabric paint to create amazing wall hangings. Watch out for the photos of the finished articles!
We celebrated Book day in style on Thurs 2nd March, great costumes from everyone!
A wonderful start to the half term with our parent's afternoon on Tues 28th Feb. What a creative afternoon making fantastic 3D aquariums.
