Autumn 2

Amazing artists, drawing snowmen with light and shade. Wonderful results and everyone was really proud of their finished piece.

Class 4 making embossed foil christmas cards. What a lovely job.

Christngle in church this year. Thank you for a great turnout from family and friends.
On Weds 9th November, the second half of year 5 made their visit to the Cathedral and enjoyed the tour, activities and pilgrimage.
On Weds 2nd November, half of our year 5 pupils visited St Marie's Cathedral in Sheffield. After a tour, they took part in two activities: one to solve the clues and choose the priest's vestments for a particular liturgical season and the second was to decide which artefacts and photos were used in which Cathedral celebration.

"This is me" - part of our Time Traveller topic

Learning Objective: I can capture personality through photography

Monday 31st October - The National Coal Mining Museum

Class 4 had a fantastic time learning about life underground in a coal mine and how it has changed from the 1870's to the late 1980's.

What a way to kick start our topic: "Time Traveller".
