Week 7
Being in school this week during Holy Week has meant that we have been able to continue our learning all about The Easter Story. We performed our Class assembly for the whole school and invited parents and carers to come and watch. I was so proud of our children as they spoke, acted and sang in front of such a large audience. We have been busy making Easter cards and baskets and hope that they might even get filled with yummy treats on the last day!
Happy Easter everyone.
God Bless
Week 6
Class 1 have been learning how to make healthy choices this week. They have designed a healthy packed lunch and have made their own fruit smoothies! They loved tasting a variety of delicious fruits and we even added spinach
Week 5
On Wednesday we had our class trip to Squirrel Wood for a Forest School day! We had the most fantastic time building dens, making nests, exploring the woods and making woodland crowns. We were even lucky enough to have sunshine so that we could have an outdoor picnic at lunchtime. Everyone went home with lovely rosy cheeks and very tired legs! The children spent the day learning, communicating, running and smiling
Week 4
This week we have been thinking about how special our mummies are to us. We have drawn pictures, written about our mums and made cards and gifts for Mother's Day. We read the story "My Mum" by Anthony Browne- follow link below to listen to it.
Week 3
This week we have continued thinking about this time of Lent and how it is a time to grow and be more like Jesus. In Science we have talked about how animals reproduce and have babies. We have been finding out what baby animals are called and that some animals lay eggs while others give birth to live offspring. Click on the link below to sing our baby animals song

Week 2
This week we celebrated World Book Day. We read the story "The Word Collector" by Peter H. Reynolds and thought about our favourite words from stories that we know. We learnt how to do word searches, spent time in the library doing a book hunt challenge and enjoyed lots of stories.
In DT we have been investigating fruit and vegetables and identifying which ones are fruits by finding the seeds. We tasted lots of things that we have never tried before.
Week 1
We have learnt about Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday this week. On Tuesday we made pancakes and on Wednesday we had a whole school assembly and we all had a cross on our foreheads with special Ashes.
We have really enjoyed our special dance workshop. We told the story of The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl through theatrical dance. It was great!!
This week we have also been enjoying Street dance with Miss Ellie.
