We've arrived at the final week of the Autumn term! Class 4 have been busy making calendars and cards. For our calendars, the children have made four seasonal pictures using a different medium each time ( coloured pencils, water colours, oil pastel and lead pencil ) and have used shadow, shade and tone. The end results are spectacular. I'm sure you will enjoy them hanging on the wall at home.
Christmas Fair ready!!
Advent wreath making with help from the worship team.
On Thursday our parent afternoon was extremely well attended. Thank you to everyone who came. The children had a buzzing time making glow-in-the-dark minibeasts from plastic bottles.

Thank you to all those who entered the competition. There were some amazing entries!
The children enjoyed looking at the range of Nativity scenes from around the world.
Oh yes they do! Investigated and concluded that woodlice prefer leaf material and rotting wood to pebbles, dry sticks or water. Here are a few members of class 4 catching woodlice on a cold, frosty morning.
The Year 5's enjoyed the tour of the Cathedral, learning many interesting facts about the building. I hope they use the photos to give their parents a guided tour.
Taekwondo lessons for P.E. have gone down a storm with Class 4.
Here are some photos of the tap shoulder and knee warm up.
Half of the Year 5 children went to St. Marie's Catherdral in Sheffield on Tuesday of this week. They enjoyed a tour and stories from Mrs Mahr and Mrs Smith, met the organist, attended Mass and did a quiz about what they had learned. the remaining half will make their visit on 20th November.
