Week 8 - Science Week
In class 4 the children have been learning all about forces, including, gravity, reaction force, friction and air resistance. They learned all about Isaac Newton and his discovery of gravity and used Newton meters to measure the weight and mass of objects.
Week 8
Class 4 led Harvest Assembly this week. We used Cafod's "Brighten up your Harvest" and learned all about helping projects in El Salvador.
Week 7
This week we had our Family/parent's afternoon to create and make all things from 1066. Great fun was had by all. Thank you for the great attendance and support.

Week 5
The Bayeux Tapestry has been the focus of this week's Topic work. We are in the process of creating our very own timeline influenced by the Tapestry.
Week 4
This week class 4 have been researching the claimants to the English throne after the death of Edward the Confessor in 1066, we decided to hold our own Witanagenot Council (a council of Witans or wise noblemen) to choose the next king. Here's a selection of our own Witan Council meeting!
Week 3
Whilst most of the Year 5s were out on Bikeability, the rest of class 4 were busy with Maths and Literacy. See how they ordered negative numbers in descending order without speaking one word! One of the few times you will witness this absolute silence! :-)
Class 4's members of the school choir couldn't wait to show what they have been learning at the "Young Voices" after school choir. Needless to say we were all very impressed and after only one session!
