Books we are reading

In Summer 1 we read Varmints by Helen Ward in which the children gained a deeper understanding of ones decisions and the impact it has on the world around them.

In Spring 2, we continue our range of reading and are studying  The adventures of Odysseus by Hugh Lipton, Daniel Morden and Christina Balit.  

During guided reading with have been studying poems from 'Cosmic Disco' by Grace Nichols.

In class the novel will are studying during Literacy is 'Cosmic it's one giant leap for boy-kind' by Frank Cottrell Boyce.

We have also read Holes by Louis Sachar.
