This week has been Children's Mental Health Week. We have enjoyed making our voices heard and using our Zones of Regulation tool kits to help us regulate our emotions. As a little treat for working so hard this half term, we watched some of the Disney/Pixar movie Inside Out and discussed what the different colours represented.
This week we have loved learning about Chinese New Year and have made some beautiful drawings of dragons to celebrate the year of the dragon.

WK 3 W/C 25/01/2024
Our class virtue is 'Simplicity' and we discussed this in our class liturgy. We talked about how we should be thankful for the simple things in life such as going on a walk, spending time with our family.
We are going to be introducing a whole class well being strategy called 'Zones of Regulation'. We listened to the story called 'The Colour Monster' by Anna Llenas and put words to our feelings. We then talked about what strategies help us when we are feeling dysregulated.
