This week we enjoyed sharing our expression activity with our grown-ups.After completing our topic “why is water wet?” we decorated an umbrella using different patterns and pictures. It was lots of fun. Then we played alongside our grown-ups in provision. It was wonderful to see how we all engaged with each other and shared our learning opportunities.
On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as our favourite book character. During the morning we had a fancy dress parade and then the Year 6 children came to be our reading buddy. We chose a book and our buddy enjoyed reading it to us. It was lots of fun.
We got to spend our credits today... it was tricky choosing what we’d like to spend them on, but we got there in the end!
Welcome back after the holidays everyone. We have been straight back into our learning by participating in our very own Federation dance event. We were able to showcase what we had been learning in our dance lessons with Miss Ellie, with hotheadedness other two classes from across our federation. We had a guest appearance from our very own Ava and her dance partner Isabelle, which we all found very inspiring. We can’t wait for our next federation sports event.
On Tuesday we celebrated Shrive Tuesday in the best possible way..... yes we all enjoyed making and eating pancakes! We had great fun watching Mrs Blakemore flipping the pancakes and then we each got to have a turn. Can you flip a pancake?
