Week 6: We are slowly adding to our class topic display with all the skills we have been learning. This week, Class 3 imitated David Hockney using water colours and thinking about his use of harmonious and complementary colour choices.
Week 5: In Science this week we looked at identifying the male and female parts of a perfect flower by dissecting a real-life example.
Week 4: We completed our short stories last week.
Week 3: This week we started our new writing unit 'To create a diary entry which captures a character's thoughts and feelings'. At the beginning of each unit, we explore a high quality example and hunt for it's features across different examples, focusing on certain ones.
Week 2: We began our art-based topic 'Rose Tinted Spectacles' which is all about how artists perceive the world. We explored the concept of beauty and created mini-art pieces to embed our learning.
Week 1:
To conclude our RE topic on Lent and Giving, Class 3 created radio interviews to recount the story of the resurrection of Jesus from the perspective of Mary Magdalene.
One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
