Literacy:

Begin by looking at the lesson presentation where you will focus on the three witches from Macbeth. Answer the inference questions first from the powerpoint then look at the modeled example of the witches. Create a mind map of adjectives which could be used to describe the witches and then complete the activity sheet to create a short description of the three witches.

Numeracy:

  • Work through questions on presentation beginning by converting measurements and then solving problems involving measurements.
  • Complete activity sheet, you may have to copy some things into your book to complete some questions (unless you can print sheets at home). Choose the star level you usually work on and check answers once completed.
  • Once complete if you need a challenge try the extension sheet.

Afternoon Work:

Research and make notes about:

  • What medical care was like before the NHS
  • The creation of the NHS
  • Changes to the NHS such as the introduction of prescriptions
  • What the NHS is like now and what some people believe the pros and cons of the NHS are.
