Week 7

Christmas Party - To celebrate the end of a fun-filled, busy term. Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Lunch, wearing our Christmas Jumpers!

Week 6

FS2 Maths - This week, the children have been singing number rhymes to help them find 1 less, and using a number line to help them find 1 more.

Y1 Maths - This week, the children have been using Rekenreks to support their creation of addition stories.

Week 5

RE - This week we have been thinking about ways that people prepare and look forward to the birthday of Jesus at Christmas. We made Advent wreaths to take to the wreath blessing, we put up our Christmas tree and we started writing Christmas cards. We also started to take our Travelling Crib home to share with our families.

Elf Run - We had great fun doing our Elf Run this week! We understand how important it is to raise money for charities, in order to help people in our community.

Week 4

Computing - Our Year 1 children have been supporting the FS2 children whilst they learn to log in and out of the computer when they are using it.

FS2 Maths - Teddy taught us how to use and understand prepositional language this week. He kept hiding from us and then we described where we had found him.

Week 3

Science - This week, we used viewfinders to look outside for signs of winter. The snow was a big sign!

Geography - We learnt about the physical and human features of a city before designing and creating our own cities. We also had great fun naming our cities!

Week 2

Maths - The Year 1 children have been learning how to use a part-whole model.

Subitising - The FS2 children have been practicing how to recognise an amount of objects without counting them all.

Geography - This week we have been using Google Earth to look at some landmarks in London.

Week 1

Remembrance Day - We discussed the importance of Remembrance Day and worked together to create some poppy tributes.

Picture News - This week we have been thinking about what makes a good leader. We sang 'In and out the Dusty Bluebells' and we discussed what made each child a good leader in the game.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
