Class 4

Home Learning

The children remaining in school have paper copies of work to keep them going for the next two days.

From Friday, daily work will be set on Purple Mash: reading and comprehension, grammar and/or punctuation, maths and a weekly topic and writing activity.

Children will need to log into Purple Mash school portal for their user name and password to be recognised.

Welcome to class 4's page.

The teacher is Mrs Walker and she is supported by Miss Hughes.

P.P.A. cover is provided by Mrs Guest.

Our topic for the Autumn term is :

Anglo Saxons and Vikings and beyond 1066 - with a focus on crime & punishment and conflict.

Class 4 Reminders

Homework will now be set on Purple Mash each Wednesday. There will be a piece of maths, writing and spellings each week.

P.E. is on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Autumn term only).

Don't forget your P.E. kit including a warm tracksuit and trainers/pumps - we will be outside as often as possible.

Spelling tests are on Fridays. Spellings will be set each week on Purple Mash.

For reading we expect the children to do a minimum of 5-10 minutes reading each night. If you would like to carry out extra activities, here are some options you may wish to choose:

- discussing key characters and settings

- making a list of unfamiliar words and their meanings

- discussing the book with your child and the events that occur.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in an ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
