Week 3 - Week Commencing 22nd April 2024
For the last three weeks in our Class Writing Lessons, we have been learning about dogs and preparing to write a non-chronological report. This week we have written our reports and then this afternoon we had a visit from Michelle with her guide dog - Hope.
We learnt about why Michelle needs a guide dog, how Hope helps her, and how guide dogs are trained. We all had a little stroke of Hope.
Week 2 - Week Commencing 15th April 2024
Our new topic in history is "London through the ages". This week we have been learning about how London Bridge was the first bridge across the River Thames and how it has changed and been rebuilt.
We are continuing to develop our fluency in reading skills. Have a listen to part of this week's text!

We are really pleased to welcome Mrs Short to Class 2! She will be teaching on Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Wednesday.
This week we have been learning about fractions. On Friday we practised finding a fraction of a number.
