Autumn 1
Class 3 have had a great start to the new school year!
We have been learning all about teeth. We have started an exciting science experiment looking at the what drinks are healthier for our teeth. We are investigating the effect of Coca Cola, vinegar, water, milk, orange juice and energy drink on hard boiled eggs (the shell is similar to our teeth).
We really enjoyed having a specialist come to school to teach our P.E. lesson. We practiced our basketball skills and were so well behaved we won 20 pieces of treasure! We were all really proud of Nathan for winning the Medal of Honor for his outstanding performance in P.E.
Last but not least, we had our first recorder lesson. For some of us it is the first time we've ever played a recorder (not that you'd be able to tell!). We had so much fun learning to put our instruments together and learning our first notes!
