We started the week by going on a lovely morning walk to look for signs of spring. We found lots! What signs of spring have you seen?

We took part in a collective worship all about Jesus being the light of the world so we made our own head torches so that Jesus can light the way and our hands our free to do good work.

On Tuesday we took part in Sports week and enjoyed lots of fun games and activities including orienteering, badminton, frisbee and dance!

We have performed "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" with actions. Do you know the story? See if you can join in! Follow the link below to watch Michael Rosen perform the story and enjoy watching our video.

Week Beginning 08/03/2021

It has been an absolute delight to have all of the children back in school this week and Class 1 is now bursting with energy! We have welcomed two new children into our class and they have enjoyed lots of fun activities this week. In PE Mr Johnson and Mr Kynoch have introduced new skills and got the children up and moving with huge enthusiasm to take part and listen to instructions.

We have enjoyed the story "Dear Zoo" by Rod Campbell and can now re-tell it with actions and even add our own animals and adjectivessmiley In phonics some children have shown just how hard they have been working at home. We have loved playing with friends in our outdoor area and made the most of the windy day on Thursday by making and testing our very own kites. On Friday we celebrated Golden Book assembly and then had fun with some new "Go Noodle" action dances. The children were so excited to take home their Mothers Day boxes. Have a very Happy Mothers Dayheart
