Summer 2
Welcome back to our final Summer Term!
- Due to printing limitations in school this half term-homework will be on Purple Mash every week. Please continue to read at home 3 times a week and practise spellings.
- PE this half term will be on Tuesday's with Mr Johnson again. The children will be coming home in their PE kits.
- Sports Day KS1- Tuesday 12th July- AM.
- Captivating Creatures - Animal experience day booked for a visit in school to replace the trip that was cancelled.
Week 6
This week the children have enjoyed ice lolly treats from their teachers and fun in the sun with their friends. To keep the cool we had lots of fun playing with the water.
Week 5
As we were unable to go on a school trip, we brought the trip to us! We had a wonderful morning with captivating creatures, looking and holding a range of animals. The children were so brave! We were so proud of them all!
We finished the day with animal art work, ice lollies, popcorn and a movie!
The children have been working in teams to research different minibeasts. They will use this research to write an information fact file about these amazing creatures.
Week 4 4/7/22
This week on Purple Mash we have been completing a range of minibeast activities. These have been set as '2dos' to complete at home too. Please note that this is optional in addition to their homework. The majority of tasks will be completed in class.

Our new Year Two children enjoyed being mentors to our new Year Ones during transition days. We were lucky to have some Year 6 helpers with us for the day too!
Week 2 20/6/22
This week children have been experimenting with rhyme and creating their own poems.
