A very warm welcome to the web page for St Helen's Catholic Primary School. Thank you for taking an interest in our school.
As a Catholic school, we take great pride in our caring ethos. It is important for us that our children develop morally, socially, spiritually and academically. We seek to provide an environment in which children feel happy and secure, one which is stimulating and helps the children to feel motivated to learn.
We believe that if children are to reach their full potential they must have a high level of self-esteem, good personal discipline and a respectful and caring attitude towards others. We aim to promote this by having high expectations of our pupils and by encouraging them to develop independence by providing them with creative learning experiences.
It is our belief that education is a partnership between home and school and we understand that teamwork is one of the keys to a successful school. It is vital that governors, staff, parents and children work together to guarantee that the pupils in our school are given the best possible opportunities.
We are always happy to welcome people into our school, so if you are considering St Helen's for your child, then please get in touch to arrange a visit.
We hope that you find our website interesting and that it helps to give you an insight into what makes our school so special.
