This week is Holy Week, which is marked by Palm Sunday. Class 3 created story boards for different parts of the story, based on the Gospel of Matthew. We then narrated the story and created a video together which we used in our Class assembly for the rest of school.
Week 4: This week we learnt about contour lines by focusing on a local hill in our area. Class 3 were tasked to investigate how the contour lines showed the gradient of the hill by making a topographical model of it. From this we learnt that the closer the contours are drawn together, the steeper the face of the hill.
Week 3: This week saw the return of Mrs Maitland and our recorder sessions (much to the relief of Mr T...). The children composed and performed their own pieces of music as seen below. This may not make sense to many of you, but to us recorder lovers, it makes perfect sense!
One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
