Autumn 2

Week 7

 

W.B  18.12.23

So many exciting things happened this week in school. We had or Nativity performance and also watched KS2’s rendition of “A Christmas Carol”.

We  also had our Christmas parties  on Thursday to mark the end of this term and the beginning of our Christmas holiday. Merry Christmas to all our families and friends!

WEEK 6

 

W.B 11.12.23

It has been such a busy week again. We made things to sell at the Christmas fare. We also wore Christmas jumpers and had our Christmas dinner! We finished the week with a lovely surprise visit from Moose!

WEEK 5

W.B 4.12.23

This week we were learning about Christingles. We found  out about what the different parts of the Christingle represent. 

Week 4

This week in Maths, we were learning by about Spatial Awareness.We  set up and completed an obstacle course and practised using the correct vocabulary. We also played games where we had to hide treasure for our friends to find and we made our own ‘Treasure Hunt’ maps.

WEEK 3

W.B 20.11.23

This has been yet another busy week.

We had a  birthday party for Fred the frog as part of our R.E topic(Birthday). Class 4 children came to support us in our Computing lesson. We also had  a chance to read to Moose and finished the week with our our sponsored Nursery Rhyme Week assembly with classes 2 and 5 and our parents watching.

WEEK 2

W.B 13.11.23

This has been such a busy week! We learnt about Other Faiths(Judaism); parents came in to make toys with us and we finished the week celebrating Children In Need Day.

Week 1

We have had a fantastic start to this half term. We started the week by learning about the history of Bonfire night.

We made a “bonfire” and enjoyed making firework pictures. We also learnt about Diwali and Remembrance Day. We are looking forward to having more fun this term  and making  happy memories together.
