Autumn Term 2

Week 7: The final week before Christmas saw Class 3 making their Christmas items that would have been sold at our Christmas Fair.

Week 6: We completed our Rudolph run! Now don't let the pictures fool you, many of Class 3 walked after these! However, I good (tired) time was had by everyone!

Week 5: Advent as begun. A time for Christians to prepare and wait for the birth of Jesus. One way to do this is through a Jesse Tree. Each day a bauble is placed on the tree during Advent representing one of Jesus' ancestors. Alongside this, a piece of scripture about this ancestor is read.

Week 4: In Class 3, we take a Mastery approach to maths through the use of CPA: Concrete Objects, Pictures and Abstract Numbers. We have been learning to calculate using column addition by drawing the calculation onto place value mats in order to 'see' the process. In RE, we have been looking at the Judaism faith, creating model synagogues.

Week 3: Class 3 learnt about the invention of smelting and casting metal in the Bronze Age! Here, students made their own casts and hot wax was used to demonstrate how casting works!

Week 2: We have continued with our gymnastics topic in PE by understanding different balances!

Week 1: Welcome back! This week, Class 3 have been investigating the strength of magnets, building upon our prior knowledge on attraction and repulsion.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
