Spring Term 1

Week 6

This week was Science week in our school. We carried out a number of investigations and experiments.On Monday we were building ramps and experimented with different surfaces and height to see what would happen to the speed of the cars on the different ramps. Later in the week we carried out an experiment to find out how germs travel and learnt about the importance of hand washing. We finished off by making bread where we investigated the effects of yeast on dough. What a busy fantastic half term we’ve had! We are ready to recharge during the half term holiday but can’t wait for some more super learning after!

This week we practised our dance routine in preparation for our performance at Sacred Heart later this month.

In Maths, we played number games to practise identifying and recognising numbers to 50.

We finished the week with a visit from Mr Clarke who was kind enough to let us have a look at his super car!

Week 4

This week in P.E we practised jumping skills.

Show and Tell

Week 3

This week in R.E we were learning about the people who help us during Mass. We enjoyed re-enacting what we had learnt.

In PSHE, we we’re learning about how we can have more than one friend. We played games that can be played with more than one friend.

We also continue to learn new poems each week to help develop our Communication and Language skills.

Week 1

Welcome back! Hope you had a lovely break. We had a lovely surprise on our first day back, oh yes we did! We watched a pantomime (Jack and the Beanstalk). What a lovely way to start this half term. We are looking forward to making more happy memories.
