Wrap Around Care Provision - Opening January 2025!

The details of what wraparound care will look like is outlined below:

Breakfast Club Provision:

Breakfast Club provision will run from 7:30am until 8:30am - offering a much earlier drop off time. As well as the earlier drop off time, children will also receive a choice of breakfast items including toast, yoghurt, cereal and fruit. Breakfast Club provision will offer a range of different daily activities for children to take part in.  The price for Breakfast Club provision will be £4 per day (£3 for pupil premium children). The increased cost will cover the longer sessions, wider variety of breakfast items and staffing costs.

After-School Provision:

This is a completely new provision and will offer parents who need a later pickup time than our after school clubs have covered in the past. There will be two options available for parents wanting to access this provision.

Pick-up by 4:30pm:

The first option for after-school wraparound care is a pick-up by 4:30pm. This option includes a light snack and drink for the children. The cost of this option will be £5 per day.

Pick-up by 6:00pm:

The final option for after-school provision allows the children to be collected up to 6:00pm in the evening. This option provides children with drinks and a light meal. The cost of this will be £9 per day.

Extra-Curricular After-School Clubs:

Our normal after school clubs will continue to run with a variety of different activities available for the children to take part in. After school clubs are an activity based session, where the children are expected to join in a particular activity – these are not wrap around child care. These clubs will run, as they always have, from 3:10pm – 4:10pm and will be advertised half termly as usual.  There will be a slight increase to the cost of these clubs due to rising overhead costs in running these sessions and going forward these clubs will cost £3 per session.

Booking Places for Wraparound Care

Our wraparound care places are strictly limited. These will be offered on a first come, first served basis based on pre-bookings made. Any of these sessions can be booked online using the Gateway App, either individually or in blocks. Only pre booked sessions will be guaranteed.

If you do need to make a last-minute booking, please contact the school office and we will accommodate if we can.

Parents are expected to read the 'Wrap Around Care Policy,' which can be found below to ensure they understand the procedures for the provision. If you make a booking for wrap around care, you are accepting the terms stated in the policy.

Please pay particular attention to the late charging rules. The school shall apply the procedures stated in the policy for late collections and reserves the right to apply an additional charge where a child/children are picked up late from the After School Care. Children who are late to be picked up after the end of the school day at 3:10pm or late picking up from extra-curricular clubs, will be sent to the After School Provision room and a charge for the session will be made.
