Summer 1

Week 5

We kicked off the final week of this half term with a visit from Graham Walker. He talked to the class about his role in Johnston Press and how journalism has changed from newspapers to a multi digital approach to reporting. He also shared some tips in writing newspaper reports which will come in handy in literacy this week.

Week 4

On Wednesday 17th May, class 4 had a brilliant, but very wet day at the Butterfly House. What an exciting way to start our next topic: Beast Creator. Most of us were extremely brave when it came to handling the creatures!!

Week 3

This week class 4 have enjoyed developing their hockey skills with Mr Johnson. In R.E. they have made posters to illustrate phrases from Scripture which illustrate the changes to the disciples brought about by the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Whilst the Year 4s were swimming, our Year 5 children worked in groups with paper and sellotape to create a bridge as part of their Topic.

Week 2

Some of our children are brushing up on their reading and spelling skills. They love the programe on the ipad. They work on this four times (half hour sessions) per week.

Week 1

Welcome back! The children in Class 4 are enjoying planning and leading worship for the rest of the class. Here are pictures of this week's worship team.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in an ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
