We made cards for each other and wrote about how the celebration of Valentine’s Day started.

This week in R.E, we looked at how the Church family gather for Mass. We learnt that the Church family enjoy coming together and have refreshments after Mass. We made sandwiches and shared responsibilities of serving them, just like the Church family do.

This week we were learning about the Chinese New Year.We learnt that 2022 is the year of the Tiger. We also practiced more dance moves with Miss Street.

This week we followed instructions to make porridge. We then had a go at writing our own instructions for Class 2 children to follow.

This week we have been reading a book from our ‘Core Storie’ ( Goldilocks and The Three Bears).
We used Talk4Writing to retell the story, made story masks and drew story maps which we later used to support our story writing.

This week, in Science we were learning about Winter. We went on a Winter walk and looked for signs of Winter. We also enjoyed our first Dance lesson.
