This afternoon you will be writing a persuasive piece of writing to convince people not to smoke. I have included a powerpoint which looks at features of persuasive writing, example for you to look a so that you remember what a piece of persuasive writing looks like (not anti-smoking), information on the dangers of smoking and a useful video for you to watch . Remember your piece of writing should convince someone that smoking is dangerous and something they should not do, giving them reasons as to why this is bad.
