Welcome to class 1.

Myself and our fantastic Class 1 team are all excited about welcoming back some of our children into year 1 and all our fabulous new FS2 children into full time school! We are always here for any questions or help that you might need.

BOOK BAGS….. Please ensure that your child brings their book bag to school EVERY DAY. Your child will be provided with a reading book, a library book and reading diary which should be sent in their book bag every day so that they can be updated by staff. I shall be encouraging the children to think about their book bag every time they put their school shoes on, this should help them to remember to bring it to school! 

There will be rewards for children who consistently bring their book bag 

and books to school every day. 

HOMEWORK….. Every child MUST read at home at least 3 times a week and they will be regularly rewarded for doing so - if it is recorded in their reading diary. They will also have homework in books and online homework on alternate weeks. 

PE KITS are needed on TUESDAYS but can be left in school all week and NO EARRINGS for PE.

WATER BOTTLES: Your child needs a water bottle in school every day. Please ensure that bottles only contain water.
