All Year 1 children complete the Phonics Screening Check in the summer term of Year 1. 

 

What can I do to support at home? 

1. Use our reading routine - Special Friends, Fred Talk, read the word. 

2. Practice reading sounds speedily. 

3. Listen to your child read their reading book every day.
