Spring Term 2

Goodbye from Mrs Fox!

I just wanted to have the chance to say goodbye to all of my fantastic pupils in Class 2! I'm sorry that I haven't had chance to see you all but I wanted you all to know how special you are and how wonderful you've been this year. I will miss you all lots and will look forward to hearing how hard you all continue to work!

You've made me very proud to be your teacher! smiley

Lots of Love, Mrs Fox x

Week 6 - Week Commencing 25th March 2024

We completed our DT topic on Wednesday with a really exciting activity! We worked on groups to create our vehicles. We had to ensure that our vehicle has 4 wheels, 2 axles and 4 axle holders to enable it to move. We then enjoyed adding details and decorations. We had lots of fun and even had a little race with our cars at the end of the lesson! smiley

Week 4 - Week Commencing 11th March 2024

What a fantastic start to the week we've had! On Monday morning we took part in a Bollywood dance workshop to kickstart our other cultures week. We had so much fun and learnt a brilliant routine.

On Monday afternoon we invited our parents/carers into school to do some activities with us. We spent the afternoon doing a range of Easter themed crafts and we really enjoyed it! It was so nice to be able to have our grown ups with us to help! smiley

Week 3 - Week Commencing 4th March 2024

This week we have celebrated World Book Day with lots and lots of stories and reading. We have learnt about Doreen-Zilpah Quansah who wrote her first book when she was eight!

Lots of us dressed up as a favourite book character. Enjoy the photos!

Week 2 - Week Commencing 26th February 2024

In Science this week we have began our new topic; Living Things and Their Habitats. We really enjoyed learning about the 7 life processes. We used an acronym to help us to remember them - MRS GREN.

The 7 life processes are:

Movement

Respiration

Sensitivity

Growth

Reproduction

Excretion

Nutrition

We used our new knowledge of the life processes to compare and sort a range of items into four categories; Living, Non-Living, Dead or Never Alive. We worked together in teams and had lots of great debates and discussions to help us to decide which category each item belongs to.

Week 1 - Week Commencing 19th February 2024

We've had a very busy start to the new half term! In RE we've been learning about Jesus' parable of the Lost Son. We have thought about saying sorry and forgiveness.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
