Class 1 children were very privileged to have firefighters and a paramedic come into school to talk to us about the important work they do.
We are so grateful for all the support we have had from parents, relatives and friends during this topic. The children thoroughly enjoyed this topic and now have a much deeper and broader understanding of the different people who help us.
In R.E, we were learning about ‘The Presentation Story’ where Simeon and Anna were happy to meet baby Jesus.

What an exciting week we have had! We had special visitors who came to talk to us about the fantastic work they do. We even went “behind the scenes” in our school kitchen, to find out where and how our food is prepared. We are looking forward to making more memories as we have more visitors lined up to come in next week!

This week in R.E, we started a new topic called ‘Celebrations’. We discussed different celebrations and talked about what our favourite celebrations are.
