Summer Term 2

Week 5

Nearly there... We had yet another busy week. Two acts from class 1 participated in  a whole school talent show. We are so proud of how they handled the pressure and nerves to perform as fantastically as they did!

In R.E we were learning about how we can help our global neighbours. We learnt about how resources can be shared fairly.

Week 4

In R.E we have been learning about how we can be good neighbours. We re-enacted the Good Samaritan story.

We have also enjoyed  being outside in lovely weather.

Week 3

This week we enjoyed our Federation Sports Day at the English Institute of Sports in Sheffield. The children took part in a range of sporting activities and were really well behaved. Well done class 1!

Week 2

This week we had our last Parents' Afternoon for this academic year. We made  models of wind chimes, bird houses and mini beasts. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents who have supported us throughout the year. Special mention to the parents of our year 1s who have attended all the parents' sessions for the past two years!🙂

Week 1

We hit the ground running (literally)with our sports day on our first week back. Everyone in class 1 displayed good sportsmanship. We worked as a team and approached each event with enthusiasm. Well done class 1 and thank you to all the parents , family and friends who came to support us.

As part of art week work, we looked at an artist called George Seurat and his style of art called pointillism.

One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
