In art this week, the children used wire to create pictures. Another skill to add to their repertoire! This was tricky work which required a lot of concentration.

This week the children have been working on their teamwork and orienteering skills in PE.

The children continue with geometric shapes in art and have sketched empty drinks cans.
LO: Identify geometric shapes in everyday objects and draw using light guidelines.
They are brilliant!

Art - Geometric shapes
In art this half term the children will be identifying simple geometric shapes in objects before they have a go at drawing.
Here they are drawing the many 2D and 3D geometric shapes found around school.
Maths
The children explored cubed numbers in maths. They used actual cubes to answer problems involving cubed numbers.
