Week 6
St Helen's celebrated World Mental Health Day by wearing yellow proudly this Thursday. We discussed what mental health is by a class and what we can do and who we can talk to if we are struggling with our emotions.
This Thursday, Class 2 continued to take part in collective worship as a class. We chose how we should gather together and how we should go forth from our prayer. One of the members from class 2 read a passage from the Bible, we watched a parable on the board, sang hymns and celebrated how thankful we are for the gifts and talents we have in Class 2.

Week 1
This week, everyone returned to school after the six week holiday
It was so lovely to come back together after successful transition days before our school break.
Class 2 came back with enthusiasm, making excellent choices and we started our time together with some ice breakers, name games and team activities.
In the photo, you can see the web we created with a ball of wool.
The ball of wool was held by an individual and we shared a goal we have for the new school year or something we may have been worried about. We then held on to a thread and rolled the ball to another member of Class 2. This continued until we all held onto part of the ball of wool. This activity taught us that we are all connected in Class 2.
We will support each other to meet our goals and help with each other's worries.
Well done Class 2 on making an excellent start to your new school year!
