Sounds are produced through vibrations which cause sound waves. You can’t see sound waves but sometimes you can see the vibrations that cause them. Here is the proof:
We tapped the drum and heard a sound, the vibrations caused the rice to bounce.
You can see the ruler and the elastic band vibrating.
