Week 5

Class 5 after our busy week of SAT's have been creating blackout poems. We have taken two pages from Percy Jackson and used words and phrases from these pages together to create our own unique poems. The results have been fantastic. Here is a little sample below of the poems and the performances.

Week 5 has been a very busy week for Class 5 we have completed another practice SAT's week. We are so pleased and happy with our results we have worked so hard and it is starting to show in some of the fantastic results achieved.

We began looking at computer programming in class. We had our first attempts at the programming app called Haikitzu which teaches programming through battling robots.

Week 4

This week some pupils from class 4 and 5 took part in the federation football tournament. Both of our teams represented the school fantastically and we were very lucky to be crowned champions after remaining undefeated throughout the whole tournament.

Week 3

As part of our PE curriculum class 5 have been looking at dance. we have been putting together a dance based around the theme of James Bond and the James Bond theme music. Here are a few pictures and pictures of some of our practice session. Keep watching the website as we will post the final video in a few weeks.

Week 2

Class 5 have started our brand new music topic this week which is Happy. We have been trying to find the pulse in the song and followed along with the animals when doing so.

Week 1

This week Class 5 have been looking at the circulatory system. We created an animation to show the journey of the blood from entering the heart deoxygenated to leaving the heart again oxygenated to provide oxygen for the rest of the body.
