Week 6: Over the last few weeks, Class 3 have been preparing for the Christmas Fayre by creating some beautiful wreaths and hand puppets. Thanks to the generosity of our parents and community, we were able to raise a substantial amount of money which will be invested back into the classroom. Thank you to everyone!
Week 5: Advent is a time of 'preparation' and 'waiting' for the coming of our Lord on Christmas Day. Using Paul's letter to the Romans, Class 3 wrote Advent Promises on green paper in the shape of their hand. These promise were made so we could better prepare our hearts to receive God's love, by showing love to others. We then created an Advent Wreath display.
We have also had a visitor who seems to be staying with us for the foreseeable future. Three, our class elf, has been getting up to all sorts of mischief! I wonder what next week will have in store for the class?
Week 3: Giving children the chance to try new things is what we are all about at St Michael's! This week, Class 3 had the opportunity to take part in a taekwondo workshop!
Week 2: We love PE, but we love it even more on the weeks we have Mr Johnson! This half term we have started to develop our Volleyball skills. Today we learnt the importance of reacting to dropping balls. Daniel became our sports star of the week because of his excellent timing and speed.
Week 1: Welcome back! This week Class 3 have continued with their weekly music sessions with Mrs Maitland refining the use of the note G and F. We have also started our new topic Predator and begun to look at food chains.
One family, growing together in love and faith, flourishing in a diverse and ever-changing world. We love, we believe, we shine, we achieve.
