Class 4 made Christingles on Wednesday and had their own assembly in Class with Mrs Guest. Look at their teamwork, helping each other!

Our two Class Councillors made the Advent wreath for Class 4 this week. What an amazing job they did!

A mystery package turned up in class 4 - the children were very excited but quickly solved the clues as to whom it had belonged to........................ Anne Frank!

This is our new focus book in Literacy.

Our P.E. stars this week! Fantastic work.

This week the year 5s went to St. Pius for a day full of technology. They baked cookies, made chocolate molds and they created their own Christmas packaging for them all. They have a fantastic day!

Week ending 17th November

The children had some lots of fun using their ciphers to solve Pudsey Bear's secret messages. 

We also have lots of fun joining Joe Wicks in his Children in Need work out complete with quiz, which the girls won!

'Friend or Foe' by Michael Morpurgo is the new focus book in our Literacy Lessons.

This week we also did some drama thinking about how David might have felt during the first Chapter of Friend or Foe when he was evacuated to Devon. The children worked in teams to create freeze frames for different parts of the story that showed what was happening and how the characters might have been feeling.

Our topic this half term is World War 2 so as part of our learning we have been learning about the importance of Rememberance day and why it is still important today. This morning we walked to the cenotaph to take part in the 2 minuet silence there and this afternoon we have painted poppies. 

Week ending Friday 5th November

Class 4 are learning the Charleston dance in P.E. on Fridays. Here are some of our shining stars after their first lesson. We can't wait to see the end product!
