Week 8
SCIENCE WEEK
As part of Science Week we have been investigating and building bridges. Our fantastic parents came along to help us.
We had a brilliant afternoon of learning.
Week Seven
After all the incredible learning the children have been doing about castles we have made our own with the junk modelling.

Week Six
The children have been doing some excellent PE this week. Their throwing and catching skills are fantastic. They have learnt how to work together as a team to defend and score in a game of Hoopla.
Week Five
Class Two have spent a brilliant day at Conisbrough Castle. They have been learning all about the different features of castles, stepping back in time and finding out what life was like 850 years ago.
Week Four
Class Two have been working really hard on partitioning 2 digit numbers and talking about their learning with a partner. We have had a great time talking about our maths there was a real buzz in the room!
We have been retelling the story of Rapunzel in our own words using puppets.
The children have been very good at using their imagination, interesting adjective and adding voices for the different characters.

Week Three
After reading The Tunnel last week.The children have been making tunnels of their own - each one has a different surprise hidden inside.
Week Two
This week we have been reading The Tunnel by Anthony Brown. The children have been thinking about how the children in the story might have felt and have been generating words to describe them.
We have ended the week making story maps of what happened to Jack and Rose in the story.
The children have done a wonderful job!
